sThe time required to restore an artwork varies depending on several key factors: the overall condition of the piece, its specific repair needs, its size, as well as the techniques and materials used.
At Atelier CROMA, the number of working hours required is determined during the quote stage — which can vary significantly depending on the complexity and scope of the restoration.
On average, the restoration timeline — from the artwork’s arrival at the studio to its return — is 2 to 4 months.
This duration may vary based on the current workload in the studio and the complexity of the interventions required, as each restoration involves alternating between multiple technical stages.
In exceptional cases, a priority service may be arranged, subject to an additional fee justified by the need to reorganise the schedule of other ongoing restorations.
To obtain a precise, tailored estimate for your specific needs, we invite you to request an estimate by providing us with detailed photos of your artwork (front, back, and close-ups of damaged areas). This allows us to offer you a personalised and optimised assessment for the conservation of your artwork.
